HEAVY BAG · VERSION 2.0

Your training.
Your data.

Privacy policy · Updated 26 October 2026. Heavy Bag is made by Peter Rogers / Box4Fitness. Contact petesamrogers@gmail.com with privacy questions.

What the app stores

Heavy Bag stores your workout history, preferences and optional manually entered weight on your device. It requires no account and operates without an app server, advertising SDK or analytics SDK. We do not receive, sell or use your workout or Health data for advertising. Your device’s own backup settings may include app data in backups managed by Apple.

Apple Health is your choice

If you connect Apple Health, Heavy Bag requests permission to write Boxing workouts and Active Energy. Workout information can include session times, duration, pauses, completed rounds, stance and estimated active calories. Calories are estimated from your entered weight and active boxing time; they are not heart-rate measurements. We do not request access to read your Health history or weight.

You can disable future saving in Heavy Bag Settings or revoke permissions in Apple Health. Deleting local history does not delete workouts already saved to Health; manage those entries in Apple Health.

Motion and audio

The decorative leather bag can respond to device orientation. This motion is processed on your device and is not recorded or transmitted. You can disable tilt or choose the flat header. The app plays coaching alongside music from your music app. Heavy Bag does not access your music library, record your microphone or request camera or location permission.

Export and deletion

You can export your workout history through the iOS share sheet. Only share it with people or services you choose. You can delete local workout history from Settings. Removing the app removes its local data, subject to any Apple-managed backups. No account deletion is required because there are no Heavy Bag accounts.

This website and support

This website contains no advertising trackers or analytics scripts. It loads typography from Google Fonts and is served by hosting providers; those services receive the network information necessary to serve requests, such as your IP address. The App Store link opens Apple’s service, governed by Apple’s policy. If you email support, we use the information you send to respond to your request.

Changes

We will update this policy if the app’s data practices change. The current policy will be available here and within the app.
